Rideout’s offers choice American plan all inclusive
Maine
vacation packages while fishing for salmon, bass, lake
trout in the spring and fall.
Early and late in the year our camp dining room is filled
with fishermen sharing stories over outstanding home
cooked meals.
Full-Service Vacation Packages
Our
Maine cabin rental packages are tailored for the serious
fisherman (or woman) who wants a “no-fuss-no-muss”
fishing camp vacation…that is, a vacation which does not
require the purchasing, packing, and preparing of
food. In addition, if Rideout’s boat rentals
are selected, the fisherman on this plan does not
perform any of the daily dock chores that are
typically part of any fishing vacation. These
chores, including, bailing, cleaning, and gassing of
rental boats, are handled by others. In
addition dry boat
cushions are provided each morning and fish cleaning
is available as needed. Finally, daily
maid service is provided. Thus, in selecting the
American plan fishing resort vacation package our customers are minimizing
their agendas to only three things: eating,
sleeping, and fishing. Unquestionably, these
are the best things to be doing on the perfect
fishing vacation!

Outstanding Maine Lodge Dining
The
following meals are prepared for our guests on the
American Plan from May 2-July 6 (“Spring”) and Sept
8-30, 2008 (“Fall”), with the exception listed below** :
· Dinner
-
We offer our guests the traditional home cooked
dinners that have always been the cornerstone of our
unique dining experience. The entrees include
Ribeye Steaks, Roast Loin of Pork, Pot Roast of Beef
, BBQ Chicken with Fettuccine Alfredo, Baked Ham
with Pineapple Sauce, and a Sunday “Thanksgiving
style” turkey dinner. All of our dinners are
complimented with crisp salads, tasty side dishes,
our ever popular home baked oatmeal bread, pastries,
and pies…all of which are “home made” and baked
fresh daily. All fountain drinks and coffee are
also included, and if you “BYOB”, we’ll provide the
glasses.
· Lunch

We are one of only a handful of lodges that take the
time to prepare a hearty hot lunch for our American
Plan guests each day. These excellent dishes are
prepared with accompanying desserts. Examples
include: Turkey Pot Pie with Biscuits, Beef Stew,
Hot Pork Sandwiches, and American Chop Suey
(Goulash). These are especially appreciated on
cooler days in the early and late fishing seasons
(quality packed lunches prepared if requested) and
ensure that you are finished eating and back out on
the water in short order. See menu below for

· Breakfast

The morning menu includes a great variety of
options. Examples include eggs cooked any style,
pancakes, blueberry pancakes, French toast,
breakfast meats like ham, sausage, and bacon,
homemade oatmeal bread toast, a variety of juices,
cereals if desired, and plenty of good hot coffee or
tea.
** Exception to the above meal plan:
From June 11-July 6, and Sept 8-11,
substitute a packed lunch for the hot lunch. Packed
lunches include a quality sandwich of your choice,
usually ham, roast beef, pork, turkey, tuna, or
BLT. They also include chips, cookies or brownies,
etc., and a large soda of your choice.

Rustic lakeside lodge dining room for meals
Spring & Fall American Plan Rates for
2008
This plan is available May 2-July 6
and Sept. 8-30, 2008. A 3 night minimum stay is
required.
The rate Includes your private
cottage, three premium hot home cooked
meals* in our lakeside dining room (including a hot
lunch), daily maid service (e.g. towels changed
daily, room cleaned daily, beds made, trash removal,
etc.),
full dock service (e.g. starting, bailing,
cleaning, and gassing of rental boats, dry boat
cushions on rainy days, fish cleaning, etc.),
unrestricted access to the lodge building,
fisherman’s lounge, recreation room (with satellite
TV), sandy beach, boat launch & ice service. The
American Plan also includes free use of our kayaks,
canoes, and paddleboat on East Grand Lake**

Kids Rental Rates: Two kids less than 3 free,
ages 3 to 7 - $56, ages 8 to 12 - $65, ages 13 to
15- $73/person/day. Kids cabin rental rates apply
when accompanied by 2 adults (if 1 adult & 1 or more
children, use the SO rate for the adult)
Gratuities: It is customary to tip from
10%-15% of the food and lodging portion of the
bill.
Taxes: Rate does not include Maine State
food and lodging tax of 7%.
*Substitute packed lunch for hot lunch from June
11-July 6 & Sept 8-11
**Does not include kayak or canoe use on river
trips.
Note: If certain larger Maine cabins on the lake
are elected (those few requiring a 7 night minimum
stay), a short walk to the dining room may be
required (approx. 5 to 10 minutes) and some dock
services may be unavailable (however self-starting
and self-bailing boats may be elected), ask for
further details.
