Houlton near Danforth in the heart of the
historic North Woods. Our Rideout's Main cabin rentals have pleasing lake views and are
situated on wooded lots. Whether you're planning
a family vacation, a fishing trip or a weekend

About
Rideout's Cabin Rentals
We have 20 fully furnished cabin rentals
at Rideout's. Some cabins have kitchen facilities,
and some accommodate either American plan
or housekeeping guests. All rental cabin rentals are
fully equipped with fresh bed linens, vellux
blankets, and towels for your convenience. Log
siding and warm, knotty-pine wood interiors blend
well with the comfortable furniture and
fixtures. The rooms are exceptionally
clean and comfortable, with all the modern
necessities: automatic heat, full bath with
shower or tub, flush toilets, electricity, and
hot and cold running water. Beds are firm and
comfortable, and most are doubles.

Plans Available
Our facility is large enough so that we can
offer several lodging plan options. Rideout's
offers a Housekeeping Plan (cook your own food
with lodging), and our American Plan packages
(full meals provided with lodging and services)
which change by season (see below). We also
offer limited summer season overnight rates for
guests desiring only Maine cabin rentals.
Several
Lodging Plans Available
Our cabin rentals with kitchens are all very
comfortable and spacious, most are right on the
lake, and the majority have large screened
porches to enjoy the night air. These cabins
vary in size but most are quite large and can
sleep up to six. All cabins are fully equipped
with fresh linens, extra blankets, a stove, a
refrigerator, an electric coffee maker and all
kitchenware (pots, pans, serving utensils,
silverware, plates, glasses, cups, etc.)

Our food and lodging vacation packages (the
American plan) include your cabin and three home
cooked meals per day, including a full hot
breakfast, hot
lunch (or made-to-order packed
lunch) and family style premium dinner. Daily
maid service and full dock service is provided
in the spring and
fall and light maid service and
minor dock service in the summer. This vacation
plan also includes complimentary kayak, canoe
and paddleboat use.

 Our
overnight cabin rentals are very inviting and
cozy. These cabins are
located in the main complex, with
convenient access to our largest dock and the
main Lodge with all its conveniences and rustic
charm. Overnight guests are also welcome to make
full use of our facility and sample some of our
home-cooked dinners during the summer when the
restaurant is in full operation (reservations
required).
