Maine Fall Foliage
There’s no better place to enjoy the
colorful Maine fall foliage than Rideout’s Lodge on beautiful
East Grand Lake. Summer vacationers have gone home, and things have slowed down to a more
casual pace. The setting is picturesque and
peaceful as the Maine fall leaves begin to display their bold,
brilliant colors. You
won’t have to fight the crowds that haunt Maine’s
more well-known coastal destinations.

Fall Colors
As fall approaches, our weather is drier and
there is a cool crispness in the air that is
especially invigorating, when combined with the fresh, earthly smell
of the autumn leaves. Our fall colors are especially vivid when
contrasted against our aquamarine lake water, moss-covered granite boulders, and sandy beaches. Things
are especially scenic when viewed from a boat,
canoe, or kayak. Maine's fall colors come early...drop in the last week of September to watch the
whole wonderful process unfold. As an added bonus,
fall
fishing,
canoe/kayak river trips,
or
sailing,
can be combined with your trip to make for an
unbeatable package.

why the locals say: ”You
won’t find better Maine fall colors anywhere!”
