A Fun Family Reunion Location
Rideout's is one of Maine's favorite family reunion locations. Every year we host several
large family reunions. Some of our families have
been returned to the Lodge year after year, for
decades. Families often reserve blocks of
cabins
adjacent to each other to remain “neighbors”
throughout their stay. In fact, one large family
books over half of our 20 cabins for a week, each
year. Activities enjoyed varies. One family likes
sunny days on the beach, leisurely evenings on the
dock
fishing
, and night swims. Another spends time
boating
, sunbathing and “catching up”. A third
likes to fish, potluck and play cards. Since our
facility is quite large, we are in a unique position
to accommodate such groups. Our
Lodge
recreation
room quite often becomes the hangout for
socializing in the evening. Our dining room often
becomes a memorable location for those big meals
together. And, our docks often turn into "launching pads" for group fishing adventures.
